Changes made to East Mississippi's home softball schedule for the coming week

SCOOBA – Due to expected rainy weather late Sunday night and into Monday, East Mississippi Community College’s scheduled Monday home softball doubleheader against preseason 10th-ranked Copiah-Lincoln has been postponed until Friday, April 15 on the Scooba campus. In another non-weather related softball schedule change for the coming week, the Lady Lions’ MACJC North Division opener against Northwest Mississippi on Wednesday has been pushed back to a 4 p.m. starting time at the EMCC Softball Field. Head coach Kate Neely’s EMCC Lady Lions are 2-9 on the season following last Thursday’s home losses (14-3 and 10-2) to preseason 12th-ranked Mississippi Gulf Coast.
