EMCC offering state football championship DVD

Commemorative DVDs featuring extensive video and audio coverage of the Lions’ state championship football victory over Mississippi Gulf Coast are available through the EMCC Development Foundation.
SCOOBA – As the fifth-ranked East Mississippi Lions continue preparations for Sunday’s Mississippi Bowl matchup with No. 6 Arizona Western, EMCC’s recent state championship game victory has been captured digitally and is now available on DVD.

Extensive video footage of EMCC’s memorable 75-71 victory over Mississippi Gulf Coast in this year’s MACJC state championship contest, held Nov. 7 in Scooba, has been synchronized with the game’s radio broadcast called by WFCA-FM’s broadcasting tandem of Jason Crowder and Glen Beard to produce the commemorative DVD.  The $25 DVD is available through the EMCC Development Foundation by calling 662-476-5063.  Visa and MasterCard orders can be taken by phone, and Christmas orders must be received by Friday, Dec. 11, 2009.

In addition to EMCC’s state championship game DVDs, 2009 Mississippi Bowl DVD order forms will be available at Sunday’s second annual bowl contest in Biloxi.  The Mississippi Bowl DVD will be produced by Panhandle Sports Broadcasting, the Florida-based internet broadcasting company that will be video streaming Sunday’s contest between the fifth-ranked EMCC Lions and the No. 6 Matadors of Arizona Western.  Order forms for the $20 Mississippi Bowl DVD will be available near the front entrance of Biloxi Indian Stadium during Sunday’s 2 p.m. contest.

Tickets for Sunday’s Mississippi Bowl in Biloxi are available at a cost of $8 in advance of the game and $10 on game day.  Tickets can be purchased by calling 601-928-6344 or logging onto www.mississippibowl.com.

The contest will also be available via live streaming video coverage at www.PSBLive.com, in addition to being heard on www.jucoweekly.com.  Locally, the Mississippi Bowl will be broadcast by WFCA-FM radio (107.9) out of French Camp and on The Fan Sports Radio (99.1 FM/970 AM) in the Jackson area.  Sunday’s contest can also be heard online via EMCC’s athletics website – http://athletics/eastms.edu - or by logging onto www.wfca108.com.
