East Mississippi's home baseball DH with Hinds CC pushed back one day to Wednesday |

SCOOBA – Due to Monday’s rainy weather conditions throughout the state, East Mississippi Community College’s originally scheduled Valentine’s Day home baseball doubleheader against Hinds Community College has been pushed back one day to Wednesday afternoon. Doubleheader action at EMCC’s Gerald Poole Field is now set for 1 p.m. Wednesday on the Scooba campus.
Head coach Chris Rose’s EMCC Lions are 1-1 on the season after splitting Saturday’s season-opening home baseball doubleheader with Copiah-Lincoln Community College. EMCC bounced back from a 6-3, eight-inning setback in the opening game with an 8-7 victory in Saturday’s nightcap.
