| Football tryouts for NJCAA National Champion East Mississippi CC set for Wednesday, Feb. 15 |

 East Mississippi Community College, 2011 NJCAA National and MACJC State Football Champions, will conduct an open football combine/tryout for high school seniors on Wednesday, Feb. 15 on the Scooba campus. Registration for kickers and special teams players will begin at 10:30 a.m. at EMCC’s Student Activities Building, located across the street from the old Sullivan-Windham Field. Registration for offensive and defensive players will get started at noon. Interested high school senior players are encouraged to bring workout gear, cleats, towels, running shoes and high school transcripts for participation in EMCC’s football tryouts. Players are also encouraged to bring video highlights of their top performances with them for evaluation. Anyone needing additional information in advance of the Lions’ Feb. 15 football combine/tryout should contact Coach Marcus Wood (601-934-5119) or Coach William Jones (601-934-5116) of the EMCC football coaching staff. |
