.jpg "Image") East Mississippi Community College is scheduled to conduct a winter softball camp on Saturday, Jan. 22 on the Scooba campus. At a cost of $35 per camper, registration for the Lady Lions’ softball camp will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the EMCC Softball Field. The offensive skills session is set for 8-11 a.m., followed by defensive skills work and position play between noon-3:30 p.m. Interested campers will need to bring all necessary softball equipment, including bat, glove, helmet, cleats, running shoes, and catcher’s gear. Campers will also be responsible for their own lunch during the 11 a.m.-noon break between sessions. In case of inclement weather, EMCC’s winter softball camp will be moved indoors to the Student Activities Building located across the street from the old Sullivan-Windham Football Field on the Scooba campus.
