West Lauderdale pitcher-outfielder Kameron Heiser has become EMCC’s third baseball signee of the spring signing period.
SCOOBA, Miss. – West Lauderdale’s Kameron Heiser has signed a national letter-of-intent to play baseball for East Mississippi Community College.  The pitcher-outfielder made the announcement official at a Thursday signing ceremony at the high school.

A right-handed hurler, Heiser was 9-2 on the mound with a 2.21 ERA, while also batting at a .390 clip for coach Jerry Boatner’s West Lauderdale Knights a year ago.

“Kameron is a versatile player capable of contributing both in the outfield and on the mound,” EMCC assistant baseball coach Josh Snider said.  “He is also an extremely hard worker who sets a great example for his teammates.”

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound Heiser joins previously announced EMCC baseball signees Noah Greer of Southeast Lauderdale and Tyler Aldridge of Caledonia High School.
